Research Funds Available
GLATA RESEARCH ASSISTANCE COMMITTEE
Purpose:
To encourage and foster research activity among the G.L.A.T.A. membership. We acknowledge that some research experience is necessary before more frequent and sophisticated research can be completed. The committee will serve two functions:
A. Consultive resource for information concerning research project merit, research design and oral/written presentation of project results. Call any Research Assistance Committee member for help with your research efforts.
B. Provision of four annual Research Assistance Awards of up to $1500 each.
C. Eligibility requirements:
1. certified member
2. employed full-time as an athletic trainer (clinician or educator)
3. one award annually is available on a competitive basis for a certified student member.
