GLATA NASM Scholarship Update:
As some of you may know, in 2007 NASM decided to discontinue funding their scholarships to the NATA Districts. In past, this GLATA scholarship was awarded to the runner up of the GLATA Living Memorial William E. Newell scholarship winner.
The GLATA Executive Board and Council has voted to fund the NASM scholarship in the amount of $1,500 to be given at the March 2008 Winter Meeting. The scholarship will continue to go to the runner up of the GLATA Living Memorial William E. Newell winner. The former NASM scholarship will be named the GLATA 40 th Anniversary Scholarship for our March 2008 meeting.
