NOTICE - SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS!
The application procedures for the GLATA scholarships has changed. In an effort to expedite the application process and decrease the use of paper, the applications can be submitted electronically. The scholarship forms are now protected fill-in Word documents and can be downloaded, saved, and sent electronically. Please follow the instructions on the forms carefully. All forms (application and recommendation) should be emailed to GLATA Vice-President, Ann Berry, at aberry@trirehab.com.
All forms (application and recommendation) are due December 1st.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Attention all Curriculum Directors, Head Athletic Trainers, and Athletic Training Students!! The GLATA Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications from athletic training students that will be awarded in March, 2007. There are five (5) undergraduate/graduate scholarships available from the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association. The best graduate and undergraduate applicant will be awarded the GLATA Living Memorial William E. Newell Scholarship in the amount of $2500.00. Of the remaining applicants, the best graduate and the two best undergraduates will each be awarded a GLATA Living Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000.00. Plus, a GLATA Living Memorial Doctoral Scholarship is given to a Certified Athletic Trainer member of District IV who has completed all requirements for a terminal degree, excluding their dissertation.
