A Brief Snapshot:

Mr. Locke attended DePauw University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree, and received his Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona.

He later received his EdD from Ball State University

Currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Marian University

Mr. Locke has former experience working as an ATEP Director at both DePauw
University and Butler University, as well as experience working with the USA Soccer
Team and at the Olympic Training Center

His Influence on the Profession:
Mr. John Locke has serves as a program director for several universities and says he enjoys being able to “see many young men and women pass through and come out with more understanding of the profession”. He is prided for bringing passion to the profession and educating others on the field of athletic training. He also helped pass the state law that allowed IATA into the world of third party reimbursement. Thank you, Mr. Locke, for your selfless dedication to the profession!
