Biography:

Jessica Huett is the Director of Health Systems Technology and Simulation at Rhodes State College in Lima, OH. A proud GLATA member since 2003, her service to the profession spans nearly two decades and includes contributions to state, district, and national committees, including NATA, CAATE, and multiple scholarly journals. Through these roles, she has remained committed to advancing professional education, supporting early career professionals, and shaping policy that strengthens athletic training practice.

Jessica’s leadership is grounded in values that prioritize the well-being of athletic trainers, inclusive practices, and meaningful collaboration. She believes in building a profession that is responsive to workforce challenges and intentional about fostering belonging across all practice settings. Her work continues to focus on enhancing strategic partnerships and promoting transparency in decision-making that reflects the diverse voices within our membership.

Outside of her professional roles, Jessica enjoys biking, reading, crafting, and exploring local parks with her husband and daughter. These personal passions help her stay grounded and bring creativity and balance to her leadership.
