Biography:
Jena Suffel is an Associate Professor of Athletic Training and Health Sciences, Clinical Education Coordinator, and Clinical Athletic Trainer at Heidelberg University, where she has been since 2013. Jena has worked with several teams over her Heidelberg career and is currently working with the women's basketball team. Jena earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Wilmington College, her Master of Education degree from Valdosta State University, and her Doctorate of Health Science degree from A.T. Still University. She is very passionate about athletic training and focuses most of her energy on helping her students and patients succeed. Outside of Heidelberg, Jena is the current treasurer for the OATA and was the inaugural chair of the GLATA CECAT from 2020-2023. Jena resides in Tiffin, Ohio, where she lives with her dog, Skyler.
