Lexi Maxwell, LAT, ATC, NASM-CES, NASM-YES is the Vice President of CECAT and currently serves as the full-time Head Athletic Trainer at Canton High School in Canton, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, with double minors in Sociology and Health and Wellness Coaching. Lexi completed an Athletic Training Residency in Pediatrics at Ohio University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Allied Health with a focus in Exercise Science. One of her favorite memories as an athletic trainer was volunteering with the Peoria Rivermen during her senior undergraduate year—a full-circle moment as her grandparents were longtime season ticket holders. Additionally, completing her Pediatric Residency stands out as a profoundly rewarding experience that helped shape her as a clinician.
